About Sarah
Sarah Plumley is the Head Teacher at Guerrilla Ed, a Professional Teacher of Mathematics, a GCSE Mathematics Expert Examiner (UK National Exams for 16-year olds) and the Founder and CEO of Education Alchemy. She invented Guerrilla Ed – a Home Education Training, Learning, Resources and Membership Site for busy parents and their school-age children.
Sarah holds a first-class honours degree from The University of Manchester (a Russell Group University), a Postgraduate Certificate of Secondary Education in Mathematics (PGCE) with Merit, and holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). She is currently reading for her Masters.
Sarah has been teaching students aged 7-18+ years for over fifteen years, has delivered professional teacher training to Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs), Recently Qualified Teachers (RQTs) and well-established classroom teachers as part of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes.
In 2018 and 2022 she received awards from the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) for services to examining.
Most importantly, her teaching has been continually rated as ‘Outstanding’ by both Ofsted (The Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills), LEA’s (Local Education Authorities) and especially by her students.

Who can attend Mad Maths March?
MMM is open to parents and grandparents of school-age children - 7 to 16-years - be they home educated or "schooled". No knowledge or previous success in mathematics is required. Full training will be given.
How do I join the MMM LIVE course?

What topics will be covered in the workshops?
MMM covers a wide range of topics including: fractions, decimals and percentages, expanding and factorising quadratic equations and solving quadratics as well as dealing with algebraic fractions.
Are there opportunities for further progression post-course?
Yes, MMM offers real-time experience of the Sarah Plumley-App which hosts several industry-leading mathematics courses for students at both primary/elementary and secondary/high school age. Availability is limited, however, so early registration for MMM is recommended.
